I was sort of anti-natural science as a kid (being into linguistics and art instead), but I find that I have, in the last couple of years, gravitated (pun intended) towards physics in particular, and quantum-, particle- and astrophysics especially. Which all coincides so nicely with your book, Charlie! I actually immediately understood everything you said in this video, haha! I am personally feeling a new golden age of Charlie coming on! 😀
Thanks a lot, Charlie! In less than 5 minutes I got to understand grav. waves in a very easy and fun way. We want a science teacher like you. Keep Fun Science up!
I loved this video❤️❤️. Me and my friend were talking about this discovery when it first came out and no one but him, another kid and me cared about it. I didn't knew about the "dark universe" being 96%. So many undiscovered secrets I'll probably die before knowing about. Wouldn't it be so ironic if this discovery led us to something that contradicted the Big Bang Theory?
Has anyone noticed that gravitational waves travel through space-time, and more specifically time, so they effect the future and past somehow? As in we could theoretically use them to observe the past and future?
One of my Professors actually worked on this and helped discover it! He gave a special lecture on it and it was the coolest thing in the world. I go to school near one of the LIGOs!
The LIGO observatory that was shown on the right is in my community!!! It was a SUPER big deal to all of us living here, since many people know people who are working at LIGO, and they FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING, OH MY GOD!!!
Welcome back, Charlie! Have missed you, have had to survive on Veritasium, Physics Girl, and other pale imitations. : )
Heck, this is so cool?? I love science
I love space
Gravity is instantaneous…not waves…See Isaac Newton.
is it the truth? do you even know science? I feel weird

Love this so much!!!
I think you have the power to grasp the interest of people towards science
Also, how many people got triggered when you mentioned the Big Bang
this is so great!'!!! please continue to make awesome new scientific discoveries videos because they're my favourite!!!
Well done, your explanation is well said, keep it up!
this is gravitational pull and push isnt it

physics is just freaking amazing.
anyone remember the chameleon circuit days
THAT ANALOGY HIT ME LIKE NOTHING ELSE
oh charlie, I'm Chilean. I study British english I hope understand more of your videos in a short time. LOVE U!♥
The only thing getting me through GCSE science
Really cool!
This is spectacular
I could honestly listen to Charlie talk about science for hours on end. He actually makes learning interesting
Very well explained 🙂 I really enjoyed that
I want you…
brilliant vid!

I haven't watched Charlie for 2 years…wow, time flies.

When I try to explain science to a few of my friends, they understand NOTHING I say…. Oh wait. I don't have friends.
omg it's been years since I've watched u, sham mann u were my idol when I was smaller haha

Wow, I haven't watch him for 3 years or so, and he still sing the fun science song, he didn't change at all ^^
Charlie, fantastic video! As an actual astrophysicist, I have to say… your description is very well done. Now I need to watch more Fun Science.
Cheers

Yay! Fun science is back!
Charlie!! Great video and very informative my friend. I am curious to your setup. May I ask what is involved camera and microphone wise? Thanks man!
I wonder if he still likes Justin Bieber
So f cool
Charlie is most of my childhood
he's so smart maybe even too smart
